Gilt Bronze Human-shaped Lamp, excavated in West Hang Royal Tomb in Mancheng County, Hebei, China in 1968, is a bronze lamp used in Changxin Palace in Chang'an in the Han Dynasty. It is 48cm in height and it is named after the two characters "Changxin" on the lamp.

The shape of the Gilt Bronze Human-shaped Lamp is a maid holding a lamp for lighting the emperor and the lamp cover can be moved around to adjust the illumination direction. The body of the maid is hollow and the head and right arm can be disassembled. The lamp base, panel, and cover may also be disassembled for recombination. The round lamp panel may be turned around, the two tile-shape covering board can be folded and unfolded freely, so that the lamp illumination direction and brightness may be adjusted at your own will. After the lamp is lit, the smoke will go directly to the body of the palace maid through her arm, thus maintaining the clean air in the room. Besides, the lamp base can hold some water so as to dissolve the smoke and dust in the body of the palace maid into water. The smart structure design delicately integrates illumination function, air purifying principle, and the elegant sculpture into one. In addition, there are 65 characters in nine posies on the lamp, recording the capacity, measuring and owner of the lamp.

The delicate founded gold-plating Gilt Bronze Human-shaped Lamp is not only a utility ware, but also an excellent work of the bronze art in the Han Dynasty. The integrated sculpture, vivid and aesthetic beauty work still glitters up to now, displaying the highly advanced alloy smelting technology and casting processing, and receives prevalent praise as a peak work of China craftwork and an important representative work of folk arts. According to the textual research, this lamp is the owned by Mrs. Dou, the queen mother of Jing Emperor in the Han Dynasty. Now it is collected in Hebei Provincial Museum.
