Five Dynasties to Northern Song Dynasty
Height: 13.6cm
Length: 22.9cm
Width: 18.4cm

The whole body of the pillow is employed with fine and even white glaze. With a slight concave, its surface is densely carved with flowers. Having vivid doors, windows, pillars and steps, it follows the very shape of a wood-structure palace house. The front door is closed but the back door is ajar with a figure standing against it. Porcelain pillows first appeared in the Tang Dynasty and became fashionable during the Song and Jin Dynasties. But such openwork porcelain pillow in house shape is rather precious.
