Daoguang period, Qing Dynasty Thickly potted and hexagonally lobed in pomegranate form from neck to foot, rising from a spread ring foot left unglazed out to a spherical belly, tapering and bowing out again to a flat, everted lip, outer walls in mixed flamb glaze strains of lavender, sky blue and rich aubergine purple, inner walls in mellower sky blue, foot in light beige with pressed Daoguang seal script mark. |
