Mo Shang Sang is a famous narrative poem among the folk songs of Han Dynasty in ancient China. It tells a story like this: one day a fair mulberry-picking girl named Luo Fu met with a prefect on her way to work. The prefect fell for her beauty and asked her to marry him, assuming that the girl out of an ordinary family would surely look up to his power and accept his proposal. Out of expectation, Luo Fu didn't at all feel grateful and taunted him severely. The prefect had to leave with a rebuff, as he deserved.
