37.2 * 17 * 56.8cm Kang cupboard lacquered in black on inside and backside, outer walls and door in red, upper and lower door panels carved with four leisurely dragons among waves, bordered in carved key-fret pattern, inner drawers symmetrical and brocade-carved, bottom drawer with fish among the waves motif and floral border engraving. Entire form very crafted and proportioned, meant for use on a kang bed, and is very rare to have survived to this day. |
