Qing Dynasty The tableware consists of plates, one-eared cup, fork, spoon, and chopsticks, most of which are carved with medallion pattern, eight treasure pattern, small flower pattern, etc, and each inscribed with six Chinese characters - "Beijing", "zhongyuan" (Central Plains), "zuchi" (pure gold). The foot of one-eared cup is right fit for the concave part of the smaller plate, thus forming a smaller set. Made of pure gold, the tableware set gives off sparkling luster. It is finely chiselled, clear in ornament, and delicate in craftwork. |
