Each side of the pot has a polished area with cloud pattern corners and a traditional auspicious picture symbolizing longevity wishes is inside each area. The peach tree is made of gold, with the branches welded to the trunk. The receptacles of the peach flowers are made of thin gold sheets and the petals are inlaid with rubies, and the pistils are made of pearls. All leaves are engraved with veins. The peaches are engraved with fish roe patterns and round "shou" characters. On top of the branches, there are four butterflies fastened with gold coils.
