Tongzhi Period, Qing Dynasty Made up of a container and a cover, the round sachet is a gold filigree creation in openwork, with three units of leaf patterns decorated with kingfisher feathers on both sides. The sachet is hollow inside and can be opened and closed. There are yellow tassels on the top and the bottom of the sachet, stringed with carved coral beads symbolizing fortune and longevity, and six units of seed pearls. A sachet is a perfumer worn on the body. Otherwise known as "scented bag", it was originally a small bag made of cloth.
