The gold-wired body of the butterfly is inlaid with a ruby, and the gold wings are decorated with kingfisher feathers and inlaid with two rubies and two tourmalines. The ends of the feelers are inlaid with pearls. This hairpin is vividly shaped and made of precious materials with superb craftsmanship. |
