Qing Dynasty The washbasin is made with a base of 80% gold fineness, evolving such techniques as carving, hammering and engraving, etc. The basin has a folded edge and a flat bottom. There are a total of twelve auspicious symbols engraved on the edge, including double horn, precious bottle, silver ingot, guava, lucky cloud, pearl, wheel of dharma, double curve, double coin, canopy, gold stick and fish. The inside of the bottom is embedded with engraved patterns, with two standing phoenixes and three flowers in the middle. |
