Qing Dynasty
Height: 6.3cm
Diameter of mouth: 14cm

The silver case is shaped like mallow petals, with a relatively small and round base. The body of the case is adorned with intertwining floral branches, which serve as the background for motifs formed with thick silver threads. There are motifs of "two dragons playing with a pearl" carved in the round polished area in the middle of the lid. The motifs are surrounded by eight small polished segments that are adorned with eight-treasure patterns and another eight polished segments along the edge of the lid are embellished with floral patterns.

The patterns formed with silver threads are elaborate and clear. The fine craftsmanship fully reflects the artistic style and technology of the floral thread embedding technique of the Qing Dynasty.
