The silver wine heater is similar to a modern-day alcohol heater. It's made up of two parts: the cup with a lid and the stand. The stand is a structure of three legs upholding a round plate, on which liquid fuels like ethyl alcohol can be placed. A round basin-shaped cup with a lid is set on the stand. The cup can hold wine for heating before the wine is served.

The wine heater is exquisitely made and innovatively designed. It was presumably made in the middle or late Qing Dynasty.
