The cup is made of silver. The brim of the cup is shaped like a five-pedal plum flower. The five-pedal segments of the cup are all engraved with raised flowers. The handle is engraved with floral and leaf patterns.

The Qing Dynasty silver objects are usually made with excellent craftsmanship, especially those created during the reigns of Emperor Kangxi and Emerpor Qianlong. The works of those periods are created with silver and gold engravings in a luxury style, with a strong ornamental effect.
