Daoguang Period, Qing Dynasty The front and back of the handle are engraved with Buddhist swastikas (卐), with both sides engraved with labyrinth patterns. The cloud-shaped head of the ruyi is inlaid with a tourmaline and an eastern pearl and engraved with auspicious patterns like bats, longevity peaches and so on. The handle is inlaid with a sapphire and two rubies, with an opal embedded at the end. Two longevity knots are tied to the end, with two coral beads and a tassel attached to each knot. |
