Qing Dynasty The oval belt ornaments are shaped like lotus flowers and supported by gilt-copper filigree bases with curling grass patterns, each ornament inlaid with 48 small rubies and one pearl in the middle. The ornaments are bright-colored and creatively designed, just like blooming lotus flowers. The two pieces on the left and right have a ring, and a buckle at the back for easy wearing. Such ornaments were found on the belt of the Qing-Dynasty emperor. They are practical and decorative as well. |
