Qing Dynasty The pearl bracelet is composed of four strings of eastern pearls arranged in rows. The two rows in the middle are separated by 21 vertically-arranged units of pearls, with each unit containing two pearls. The two rows on the top and at the bottom are separated from other rows by 21 one-pearl units. The buckles at both ends are made of platinum. The main buckle at one end is inlaid with an eastern pearl and engraved with floral and grass patterns in the shapes of fans joined together. The buckle at the other end is like a clip and can be connected with the main buckle. A total of 250 eastern pearls are used in the bracelet. |
