Qianlong Period, Qing Dynasty The bowl has a pagoda-like cover with a ruby-inlaid knob in the shape of a peach. The cover is decorated with three layers of patterns, with the top layer being lotus petals and ruby-inlaid flowers, and the two layers below being intertwining lotus flowers of ruby petals and gold receptacles inlaid with niters. The bowl has a flared mouth and a bell-shaped high stand. On top of the stand, there's a round disk and a drum-shaped base. Both the bowl and the base are decorated with diamond figures inside and intertwining lotus flowers outside. The bottom is ringed with patterns of gold-edged and ruby-inlaid lotus petals and niter-inlaid gold receptacles. |
