Gold Danglu, an ornament for chariot-driving horse, is the component of the bronze chariot. It measures 9.7 cm high, 4.75 cm wide and 0.2 cm thick. The gold danglu is placed on the middle and upper forehead of the horse, namely, the connecting position between the hide on the nose and that on the forehead. It looks like a leaf, the upper part circular, the lower part pointed, connected by two arcs on both sides. Apart from its connecting function, danglu also has the ornamental function. |
