Gold jieyue, also an ornament for chariot-driving horse, is a component of practical chariot. The body of the ring measures 0.98 cm high, 4.7 cm in outer diameter and 1.7 cm in inner diameter. The article is in ring shape, bulging on the face side with three intaglio lines. The back is in groove shape, which used to be filled with copper. There are four bronze knobs with holes fixed into two pairs in symmetry, the knobs being damaged. |
