Originally named Xiong Yaohua, Gu Long was a noted wuxia novelist, who passed away in Taipei on September 21st, 1985. His works had a far-reaching impact on the inheritance and promotion of Chinese wuxia culture. Even today, these works are still widely acclaimed. His novels stand out in the development history of wuxia novels for changing plot novels into suspense ones. In addition, the author ingeniously integrated the literary portrayals of characters, their fate, feelings and personalities into wuxia novels. Gu Long's well-known works include The Legendary Twins, The Lu Xiaofeng Series and The Chu Liuxiang Series etc. |
