The stamp album and first-day cover celebrating the 50th anniversary of the creation of Jin Yong's wuxia novels were issued at a ceremony in Shanghai on January 18th of 2007. It was the very first time that the martial arts world and its spirit created by the great novelist had been presented to readers on stamps. As a big event in the cultural circle of Shanghai, the issuing of the stamp album was of great significance.
