Eight-treasure porridge is a common porridge. It is nutritious and simple to cook.
1. Soak some red dates with warm water and clean them by washing. Clean the glutinous rice and soak it for 30 minutes. Chop some preserved fruits into small pieces and cut the Jing cake into small dices.
2. Take a clean boiler, put red dates and glutinous rice in it, and add 2,500 grams of water. Boil it for 20 minutes with strong fire. Once the glutinous rice becomes sticky, boil it by slow fire.
3. After the rice soup is thick and the rice broke, put the sweet lotus plumule, flesh of Longan, raisins, melon seeds, nectar cherries, preserved fruit pieces as well as Jing cakes cubes in the porridge. After the mixture is boiling, the porridge is finished.
