This one of the 10 attractions of West Lake was at the former Jujingyuan imperial garden of the Southern Song period, known for its more than 500 willows of various species, where orioles often gather. Flower and lantern shows are held here in autumn.

Located in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, the West Lake is also known as Qiantanghu Lake in ancient times and as "Xizi Lake" and "Wulin Water" currently. It was formed under the effect of silt deposition in the Qiantang River.
