Misty Trees at Nine Creeks

next
Nine Creeks and Eighteen Caves is a scenic area in the hills southwest of  West Lake. Praising it as the best scenic area of West Lake, a Qing scholar named Yu Yuezan described it in a poem: "The serried hills roll on; the paths bend and wind; gurgling and bubbling the springs flow; high and low  the trees grow."
