Fu Xi was the first of the mythical Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors of ancient China. He married his sister Nvwa and they procreated the Chinese nation. Fu Xi taught his subjects lots of production and working skills like fishing, hunting etc.
It is said that the Eight Diagrams holding an important position in ancient ideology and life were also invented by Fu Xi.

This portrait is created after the image of divine beings in the Classic of the Mountains and Seas, which is presumably aimed at giving an ancient feel. After all, Fu Xi was our ancestor. Though wrapped in leaves, he looks tidy and smart. His clothes are by no means inferior to modern fashions.
